Write Way Essay evolved in August of 2011 out of my passion for my students’ success, particularly as they take the next step of their educational journeys. For my entire career, I have worked with seniors honing their writing to suit their college admission essays. Each year I offer my senior classes this seminar, and it has met with great success and gratitude (especially from parents!).
I am an energetic, committed, and passionate teacher, and I love working with students to help develop their voices and best writing for their college essays! The college application process is stressful and long; my seminar and guidance give students the confidence to tackle their application essays and get them submitted in a timely fashion, while giving parents peace of mind. I provide two services: a seminar/overview of the actual application process, with a concentration on the application essay, and then follow-up, individual consultation on the student's draft/s.

Shari Sprigle, Consultant, Atlanta, GA
Allyson welcomed Shari to Write Way Essay in the fall of 2021. Shari and Allyson spent the early years of their teaching careers together at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, Virginia, collaborating often as well as leading the yearbook class together.
Shari has 10 years classroom teaching experience in Virginia and New York, as well as 10 years experience tutoring students in literary analysis and all things writing. She holds a BA in English and a Masters in Teaching Secondary English from the University of Virginia, as well as a degree in Library and Information Science from Long Island University.
Shari lives in Marietta, GA and works with clients both in-person and remotely. She enjoys spending time with her children, walking her dogs, discussing books, and playing tennis. We are so excited to have her on our team and expand Write Way Essay!
